This is a hard-feeling, unfriendly combination that has found little appreciation from most of our testers. At impact, it feels exceptionally hard and crisp.

Recently returning to the game after a 3 year absence, I already had the 3 Wood in this series which I still hit very well, so wanted Driver and 7 Wood to match rather than risk swapping clubs at present. Though the Steelhead and Steelhead Plus woods continue to be very popular with our testers, the Steelhead drivers do not come up to their level of acceptance.
The Steelhead Pluss does not provide the comfortable forgiveness of the callawaay heads. The tight, boardy feel of the ProForce combined with the hard head of the Steelhead Plus creates a combination that has limited appeal.
